Toonorama
Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 15, 2026
Toonorama is an AI-powered photo booth experience operated by Howell XR LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how Toonorama collects, uses, processes, stores, and shares information when you use the Toonorama service.
Information We Collect
When you use Toonorama, we may collect:
Photos and Images
Toonorama captures photographs that you voluntarily take using the photo booth. These images may contain your face, likeness, clothing, and other visual information appearing in the photograph.
AI-Generated Images
Photos may be processed using artificial intelligence to create stylized, transformed, or otherwise AI-generated versions of the original image.
Technical Information
We may collect limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service, such as timestamps, device information, application logs, and error information.
How We Use Photos and Images
Photos captured through Toonorama are used to provide the photo booth experience requested by the user.
A captured photo may be:
- Sent to OpenAI's API for AI image processing and generation.
- Used to generate a transformed or stylized image.
- Temporarily processed by Toonorama systems as necessary to provide the service.
- Stored in Google Drive so that the generated image can be delivered, accessed, downloaded, or shared as part of the Toonorama experience.
We do not sell users' photos or personal information.
We do not use photos captured through Toonorama for advertising profiling.
Artificial Intelligence Processing
Toonorama uses OpenAI's API to process photographs and generate AI-transformed images.
This requires Toonorama to transmit the photograph and related processing instructions to OpenAI. OpenAI acts as a service provider that enables the image-generation functionality of Toonorama.
According to OpenAI's API data policies, data submitted through the OpenAI API is not used to train OpenAI's models by default unless the API customer explicitly opts in to such use.
Google Drive and Google User Data
Toonorama uses Google Drive to store and manage photographs and AI-generated images created through the Toonorama experience.
- Toonorama only requests access to Google services and Google user data that is necessary to provide this functionality.
- Information obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide and improve user-facing Toonorama functionality.
- Toonorama does not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or the training of generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
- Toonorama's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Google user data is not sold.
- Google user data is not transferred to third parties except where necessary to provide Toonorama's user-facing functionality, where required for security or legal compliance, or with the user's explicit consent.
Third-Party Service Providers
Toonorama relies on third-party services to provide portions of the experience, including:
- Google — Google Drive may be used to store, organize, and deliver photographs and AI-generated images.
- OpenAI — OpenAI's API is used to process photographs and create AI-generated images.
These providers process information according to their respective privacy and data-handling policies.
Data Storage and Retention
- Photos and AI-generated images may be retained in Google Drive for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Toonorama experience, allow event organizers or authorized users to access event images, operate the service, or satisfy legitimate business or legal requirements.
- We may periodically delete images and associated data when they are no longer needed.
- Users may contact us to request deletion of photographs or AI-generated images under our control.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Sharing of Information
- We do not sell personal information collected through Toonorama.
- Information may be shared with service providers such as Google and OpenAI when necessary to operate Toonorama and provide the requested photo and AI-generation functionality.
- We may also disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or safety of Toonorama, Howell XR LLC, our users, or others.
Event Organizers
When Toonorama is provided as part of an event, photographs and generated images may be made available to the organization or client hosting the event.
Where applicable, event-specific disclosures may provide additional information about how photographs from a particular event are handled or shared.
Children's Privacy
Toonorama is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe information relating to a child has been collected improperly, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete the information.
Your Choices and Data Deletion
You may contact us to request access to or deletion of personal information or images under our control.
To submit a privacy or deletion request, contact us using the information below. We may need information about the event, approximate date, or photograph to identify the relevant data.

When changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
If we materially change how Google user data is accessed, used, stored, or shared, we will update our disclosures and obtain consent where required.
